"This poem is inspired by the technocentrism and techno-eutopianism that pervade our modern culture.  It explores our tendency to undervalue things which emerged from natural processes, and the tendency to idolize and grossly overvalue anything human beings have a hand in re-creating.  The poem also explores the efficacy of embarking on a re-creation of ourselves given the obvious limitations of our creative ability."
